2. Linking Nodes to form connections between Grids for bonus points.

3. Docking or Engaging on the Charge Station in the Endgame to help balance the power system.

In FIRST RAPID REACT, teams work to transport cargo and prepare for departure in a futuristic airport-themed game.

Teams prepare for departure by:

1. Scoring Cargo into the Upper or Lower Hub to gain points.

2. Securing the Hangar by climbing Rungs of increasing height in the Hangar Zone during the Endgame.

3. Achieving Autonomous and Teleoperated goals by scoring Cargo and completing climbs for additional ranking points.

In FIRST INFINITE RECHARGE, teams work to defend the city from approaching asteroids by restoring and protecting the cityโ€™s power grid.

Teams restore the power grid by:

1. Scoring Power Cells into Power Ports to energize the Shield Generator.

2. Spinning the Control Panel to activate stages of the Shield Generator.

3. Climbing the Generator Switch and balancing it during the Endgame to restore the Shield Generator and protect the city.

2019 – Mantis

Game Info – Destination: Deep Space

In Destination: Deep Space, teams collecting samples from Planet Primus must prepare their spaceships between SANDSTORMS.
At T-minus 2:30: A SANDSTORM limits DRIVER visibility, so ROBOTS independently follow preprogrammed instructions or are operated by human DRIVERS. 

At T-minus 2:15: The SANDSTORM clears, and human operators take control of their ROBOTS. ALLIANCES score points by: 

1. Preparing ROCKETS and CARGO SHIP with HATCH PANELS

2. Loading CARGO pods

3. Returning the ROBOT safely to the ALLIANCEโ€™s HABITAT.

Game Info – FIRST Steamworks

In FIRST STEAMWORKS, during an era where steam power reigns, teams prepare their airships for a long distance race. 

Each team prepares in three ways: 

1. By building steam pressure by scoring fuel (balls) into their boiler.

2. By delivering gears to pilots on their airship. When enough gears are delivered, pilots turn the crank to start the rotor. 

3. By latching on to ropes, allowing their robot to climb up to the airship, thus preparing for takeoff.

Four teams, paired in two alliances, will compete in each match. An alliance scores points by placing balls in their goal, and by positioning their robots in designated areas at the end of each match. At the start of a match, each alliance has seven yellow balls and one black ball in their station. In addition, there are fifteen yellow balls and two black balls on the far side of the field which may be scored by either alliance.
